VINEYARD & WINEMAKING
The A&G Estate Vineyard is located in the Red Hills of Dundee, Oregon, and is named for renowned winemaker Gary Andrus and his lifelong friend, Anthony Maratea. This wine is comprised of the Pommard clone and Dijon clones 115, 667 and 777; it was fermented with 40% whole clusters and aged in 100% new French oak barrels for 12 months.
WINE
The 2003 A&G Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir expresses not only Gary’s style of winemaking, but the spicy black fruit character and minerality that is true to the Dundee Hills. Deep garnet in color, it is very substantial on the palate and exhibits a cardomom and cinnamon flavor derived from the use of whole clusters. Its flavors of blackberry, cherry, chocolate and earth meld into a long and persitant finish. The 2003 A&G Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir is an elegant and complex wine that will age nicely for seven to nine years.
Until the newly grafted and planted vines on the home estate are mature, Gary and Christine purchase grapes from such reputable vineyards as Stoller in the Dundee Hills and Broadley in Monroe, Oregon.

2004 OREGON PINOT GRIS
CHRISTINE LORRAINE
CHEHALEM MOUNTAINS AVA
PRODUCTION: 450 6-bottle cases
RELEASE DATE: May 1, 2005
SUGGESTED RETAIL: $20 per bottle
VINEYARD & WINEMAKING
The Christine Lorraine Vineyard is one small block adjacent to Gary & Christine’s Vineyard, which surrounds the winery in the Chehalem Mountains, Oregon. Although the vineyard is planted predominantly to Pinot Noir, this tiny parcel of land planted to Pinot Gris was retained for Christine’s love of the blend. The wine was made primarily with Pinot Gris, but a small percentage (<7%) of Chardonnay was blended in to add breadth to the palate. The 2004 Christine Lorraine Pinot Gris was fermented and aged in large traditional Alsatian-style neutral oak ovals.
WINE
The 2004 Christine Lorraine Vineyard Pinot Gris displays the depth of fruit and texture derived from such close spacing in the vineyard. With bright aromas of pear, passion fruit, kiwi and clean-cut grass, the wine displays a round mouth full of crisp citrus and tropical fruits, a lovely silky texture and balanced acidity. It is a great white wine for red wine drinkers because of its complexity; Christine simply describes the wine as “Delicious!”This is the only white wine produced by Gypsy Dancer Estates.
